Kagaya’s heart of hospitality comes from a philosophy conceived by the late proprietress, Taka Oda, who always considered guests’ satisfaction first. The room attendant’ services are based on attentive and careful consideration. The presently common custom of greeting the guests at each room began here in Kagaya.

Taka Oda treated each guest sincerely and faithfully and never said, “No” to them. Her philosophy has been carried on into the present, and Kagaya has been loved always by the guests for the “heartfelt hospitality” that cannot be found anywhere but at Kagaya Aenokaze.
